This is a small, personal private pediatric and adult ophthalmology practice where care is provided to all ages from infancy through senior years.
Dr. Adam D. Koenigsberg is board certfied in Ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is fellowship trained in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. He is an expert in surgical correction of eye muscle disorders in adults and children. He is an eye muscle specialist and performs corrective surgery to straighten and align eyes which cross, drift and float. This is done for cosmetic as well as medical reasons.
Adults also receive excellent care at the office of Dr Adam Koenigsberg. This includes generalized eye exams and refractions (checking to see if glasses are necessary to improve vision). The office also routinely provides glaucoma screening and disease treatment, dry eye diagnosis and treatment, treatment of eye allergy, cataract checks, macular degeneration examination and optical alleviation of double vision with prismatic lenses. We provide management and treatment of the most serious eye diseases as well as prevention and proactive screening to prevent treatable loss of vision.
Nothing is more important than a comfortable and trusting doctor-patient relationship. To help ensure that this relationship develops, we schedule longer appointment times so that patients always leave with the feeling that they have not been rushed and that all of their questions have been answered. Patient appointments are never overbooked. Calls are returned promptly, and a number of appointment slots are reserved everyday for patients who need to be seen on an urgent basis.
